Fight, Flight or Freeze: Inside the brain of a scared mouse
When a terrifying threat looms from above, mice have to make a split second decision about how to respond. To figure out some of the neurocircuitry involved, scientists have been scaring mice - and they hope to shed light on human disorders like phobias and PTSD.
