Babe Town - Batu Bolong, 12 July 2019

Batu Bolong is a bit of an anomaly when it comes to the ratio of women to men in a lineup, i.e a lot more women, this morning's session being no exception. Even though a fairly stiff SE was forecast, the trade wind was late to get up this morning which meant a super glassy surface for the first few of hours of daylight. It did start blowing at around 10am, but by the time I left at 10:30 there was still plenty of shape out there, especially on the lefts. A little bump in the swell and an increase in the trade wind is forecast for tomorrow, so we'll probably head back over to the Bukit for a bit of protection from the wind.
