High Grade Glass - Uluwatu

The SE trade wind Bali blows offshore on Bali's Bukit peninsula, making groomed lines the standard for half the year. It's often quite a stiff breeze, so even though it's offshore it's generally not glassy at Uluwatu. There are some mornings with hardly any wind, but it can often suffer from morning sickness and be a little lumpy and without much shape. But during this particular session, there was just the right amount of offshore to straighten the swell without blowing too hard - keeping it silky smooth for a couple of hours.
